Important Reminders for the February 2025 Meeting The upcoming Bi-monthly TACP meeting will be held February 5-7, 2025. This is the first meeting at our new home, Sonesta Nashville Airport Hotel. To help TACP staff adequately prepare for the meeting please make sure to register ahead of time using the link provided.
There are some different events that have been added to the February meeting for which we want to make sure you are aware:
1. Day on the Hill will be on Wednesday, February 5, 2025. We will depart the hotel around 8:30 am, travel to the Capitol and depart downtown for the return to hotel at approximately 1:00 pm. Please make sure to indicate on the registration form whether you will be participating in this event and if you will be riding the bus so that we have adequate space. A more detailed schedule, likely similar to last year, will be distributed in January.
2. We have a potential breakfast sponsor for the February meeting. The sponsored breakfast will be like the ones at the annual meeting in August. Participation will be limited to the first 75 who sign up on the registration form. Please keep in mind, out of respect for the sponsor, if you sign up for this breakfast, you should also plan to attend the presentation.
3. We have a confirmed boxed lunch sponsor for the February meeting. Participation will be limited to the first 75 who sign up on the registration form. Please keep in mind, out of respect for the sponsor, if you sign up for this lunch, you should also plan to attend the presentation.
Finally, the hotel room block expires 30 days prior to the start of each meeting. Please make your room reservations using the link provided no later than January 4, 2025, to ensure getting a room at the meeting hotel at the negotiated rate. One other thing to keep in mind, we have negotiated and guaranteed a block of rooms for each event. Staying at other hotels or failing to make your room reservations by the deadline could negatively impact the association financially as per our contract, we will be required to pay for rooms guaranteed and not booked.
All meeting attendees receive free parking. Additionally, one breakfast per room is included (this is different from the sponsored breakfast noted above). Breakfast will be available for purchase for additional individuals staying in one room. We are excited to begin our 2025 meetings and look forward to seeing you all there in February!

Live stream will not be available for this meeting.

TACP Changes to POST Submissions
As discussed at the December meeting, TACP will be making a few changes at upcoming meetings regarding sign-in sheets and POST submissions. These changes were discussed and approved by the Board at the December meeting.
Beginning at the February 2025 Bi-monthly meeting (we did a trial run at the December meeting) you will be required to sign a roster at the registration table each day rather than just at the beginning of the conference. There will also be separate sign in sheets for any POST mandated training.
Additionally, for every TACP meeting approved for POST credits, a form will be sent to you via email no later than COB the following Monday. You MUST complete this form and return it to the TACP office prior to the Friday before the next meeting to receive POST credits. Deadlines will be clearly communicated on the form and reminders will be sent prior to the deadline.
In other words, if you attend the February meeting, February 5-7, 2025, you will receive a POST form via email by COB, Monday, February 10, 2025. This form must be completed and returned no later than April 4, 2025. The deadline will understandably be different for the December meeting to allow submission before the end of the year.
Submissions after the deadline may be considered on a case-by-case basis. However, this new policy should streamline the process for everyone by avoiding the discovery of missing credits at the end of the year. You will be able to check Acadis for the timely submissions by TACP throughout the year.
