The TACP 2025 Day on the Hill will be on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, in conjunction with our April Bi-monthly Training and Vendor Expo.

To alleviate the parking issues downtown Nashville, TACP has secured a bus to transport 55 members from the Sonesta Hotel to the Tennessee State Capitol and back. The bus will depart from the parking lot of the Sonesta at 8:00 AM and return around 12:30 PM.

Space is limited, so to reserve your seat, please click here and complete the form. Once the bus is full, we will begin a waitlist to fill in cancellations. We will consider a second bus if the number on the waitlist justifies the additional expense.

The April meeting schedule on Wednesday will be altered slightly to accommodate this event and we will get the new agenda format for everyone out as soon as possible.

Please note that if you choose not to ride the TACP bus to and from this event, there are no reserved parking spots downtown, nor reimbursement for parking.

The negotiated room rate at the Sonesta Nashville Airport is $184 per night and includes complimentary parking and one breakfast each morning.

As part of our ongoing efforts to standardize and improve processes, the City of Nolensville is seeking your input regarding administrative fees for towing vehicles.

To make this as convenient as possible, we’ve created a brief survey using Jotform. It should take no more than three minutes of your time to complete. Your feedback is invaluable and will help the City of Nolensville make informed decisions regarding this issue.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol has announced that it will hold three Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) Officer Training Schools this year. The training sessions will take place at Mt. Juliet Middle School and the Wilson County Board of Education.

There is no fee to attend the training, making it accessible for officers looking to become certified D.A.R.E. instructors. Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a certificate for instructor development.

The D.A.R.E. program equips law enforcement officers with the skills to educate students about resisting drug use, making positive choices, and handling peer pressure effectively.

For more information on dates and registration, interested officers can contact the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
