Nashville International Airport 

 

Assistant Vice President (AVP), Public Safety, Chief of Police

The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Public Safety is a highly experienced and strategic leader to serve as the Chief of Police for the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA). This role oversees all aspects of law enforcement, 49 CFR Part 1542 - Airport Security program, airport rescue and firefighting (ARFF), and emergency medical services at the Nashville International Airport. Other responsibilities include providing oversight to ensure compliance and sustained accreditation with the Commission on Accreditation of Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). Officer (Airport Police)

Officer (Airport Police) is responsible for protecting the life and property of the general public within the Nashville International Airport's (BNA) jurisdiction by recognizing and reporting unsafe conditions, actions, or environmental hazards. Chief of Police - Town of Nolensville, TN


A search is underway to attract a highly qualified forward-thinking candidate with leadership and management skills to serve as the next Chief of Police for the Town of Nolensville, Tennessee. The current Chief of Police is retiring in good standing after 46 years in law enforcement and seven years as Chief of Police of Nolensville, leaving a well-functioning and capable department. Nolensville’s next Chief of Police will be a skilled communicator who leads with the highest degree of integrity. The Chief will be a leader with an acumen for excellence and a desire for the advancement of the department and the Town as a whole. A strong collaborator who is open, honest, approachable, and receptive to feedback will be valued.


This employee is responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing of all activities of the Police Department. The employee is under the general supervision of the Town Manager. Instructions to the employee are general, and the employee must routinely use independent judgment when performing tasks. Accepted professional standards and standard operating procedures help guide the employees’ work. This employee may be required to discuss courses of action, policies, and procedures with the Board of Commissioners.
