TACP will begin the process of converting our association management software from YourMembership to Novi. This process will likely take a few weeks and you will see some changes and potentially experience delays or downtime with the system during this time. However, we believe in the end it will all be worth it with a much more user-friendly software that will streamline services for our members and TACP staff. This process will start NLT February 1, 2025.
Please contact the TACP office if you have any issues logging into YourMembership or have questions.

CALL FOR SUPPORT - Attention All Law Enforcement Agencies
We want to inform you about an important development regarding our statewide network, which has been serving our law enforcement community tirelessly for the past 25 years. Unfortunately, we have recently faced a significant reduction in our grant funding. This unexpected change poses a challenge to our ability to continue providing the invaluable 24-hour services that you and many others rely upon.
Following meetings with a committee of sheriffs and chiefs of police who know firsthand the immeasurable value of the services we provide; the suggestion was that we reach out to all law enforcement agencies in the state to request your support through a pledge of membership dues. Your contribution will be instrumental in helping us bridge the funding gap and ensure that our essential services remain uninterrupted.
It has been suggested that the following examples of memberships dues be considered: • Population above 150,000 | $3,000 • Population 100,000 to 150,000 | $2,500 • Population 50,000 to 100,000 | $2,000 • Population 20,000 to 50,000 | $1,500 • Population 10,000 to 20,000 | $750 • Population less than 10,000 | $500
Here is how your membership dues can make a difference:
Sustaining Services: Your pledge will allow us to maintain the 24-hour availability of our services, ensuring that we can continue to respond promptly to the needs of our first responders. Supporting Innovation: Membership dues will enable us to develop and implement innovative solutions to better serve you and address emerging challenges. Strengthening Partnerships: By contributing, you help us foster a stronger, more resilient network of agencies working together toward common goals. In addition, we ask those who can and are willing to donate additional funds to help with operational support to assist with training, travel, administrative functions, and other overhead operational expenses, to please contact us with an amount and we will provide an invoice to your agency for those funds.
Our commitment to serve all law enforcement to the best of our abilities will not change, and as long as we can provide any services, we will do so, regardless of whether an agency who needs those services has contributed funding. However, we firmly believe that with your support, we can continue to provide the exceptional service that our law enforcement community has come to expect from us, even as demands for our services continue to grow.
We look forward to continuing to work together with you to make a difference in the lives of all first responders in Tennessee.

“Slow Down Tennessee” is a campaign led by the THSO to reduce speeding-related crashes, injuries, and fatalities. The THSO partners with various state and local agencies to increase public education, awareness, and enforcement through a multi-pronged approach. Law enforcement agencies statewide conduct high visibility enforcement, increase saturation patrols, and utilize other tactics to curb speeding drivers. Outdoor signage is used to display “Slow Down Tennessee” as visual reminders for speeding drivers. This includes the use of large banners and digital message boards.
